Vision boards, dream boards have been shown to work in many ways. Celebrities and business people use them and i've used them a few times.
What your actually doing is physically creating a vision of what you want to manifest, and it's one of the simplest ways.
I'm going to explain the easiest way to make one, that will work for you
What you need!
A cork board, white board or any stiff card
Lots of colourful magazines
Pictures of your goals that actually inspire you!
Tape, blu tack or pins
Post it stickers or white stickers
Now think through what you actually want, you can even pick which area of your life.
If it's your ideal home by the sea, look for those pictures or if you can't find a perfect looking home, you could pick a beautiful ocean setting or beach setting, this may be enough to inspire you. If it is a romantic relationship, again look through for pictures that represent your ideal man or woman. Don't worry if it doesn't come in one picture, you could pick a picture which represents what love means to you, a couple holding hands, two hearts entwined etc.
When you decide, look through each magazine or pictures until you find colourful pictures that fit your goals and actually inspire you to really strive for that goal, pictures that actually speak to you and say WOW yes that is what i want in my life! Cut them out and make a collage, a collage which is pleasing to your eye. You might move them around a few times until your happy with the layout or until you actually feel inspired by your collage. Then fix them on with tape, pins or whatever you need to use to fix them to the board.
Your vision board shouldn't just focus on "stuff" but how you want to feel on a day to day basis, so using the post it's or white stickers or even finding the words in magazines also cutting them out and adding them. Words can be anything how you want to feel on a daily basis for example, joyful, grateful, loved, successful, fearless, courageous, confident, healthy, compassionate, abundant, powerful even financially free.
To get the full benefit from a vision board place it somewhere you can see it on a daily basis, when you wake up and maybe when you go to bed. If you look at your vision board just before a meditation you'll find it very beneficial, also just before sleep it goes into your subconcious and you'll find you start to wake up with ideas that can empower you. At the side of your bed is ideal for keeping a vision board and night time is the most powerful time as it does open your mind to inspiration which you wake upto.
An action board is a little different and a lot of people find these work better for them. With an action board your goals are broken down into steps with pictures that inspire you to reach each goal. Some people measure the steps, some by age, time or accomplishments.
So find the best one to suit you, you never know until you give them a try!
