A question i get asked a lot...is everyone psychic? Yes, but, is everyone a medium?..No and in this blog i'll explain why and the differences...
Yes everyone has an inbuilt psychic ability and some develop theirs to a high degree, as a psychic tunes into a living energy ie; a person physically living, an incarnate soul. They vibrate on an energy vibration which is very similar and resonates with their energy field or aura. An incarnate energy is denser and heavier than discarnate energy which would make it easier for psychic's to tune into incarnate energy as they are similar vibrations and also where past, present and future would be picked up.
A medium sets an intention, lifting themself to a higher vibration which is more purer and lighter. They are able to blend easier with discarnate energy as the discarnate energy is light, purer. It can be draining for a medium and for the discarnate spirit as it can take a lot of energy on both sides.
Can a psychic be a medium?...no as their vibration wouldn't be raised enough, whereas a medium can also be a psychic as a medium can drop their vibration to blend on the psychic.
Mediumistic is seen as a higher purer way of working and widely accepted as being a higher level of working than a psychic and why now, a lot of psychics use the term medium without actually being able to make mediumistic connections.
Courage is a word i don't think about that often...lately i've had that word going round in my mind a lot, which led me to thinking..
How many times do we recognise our own courage? not a lot! but we've all got courage and it shows itself in many ways. Courage can be something that might seem trivial to many but is a massive thing to others. I'm going to share my thoughts on what ive thought lately about "courage"..
For a lot of people, waking up in the morning is just the "norm" but if you think about it, this can be a very courageous thing for someone that doesn't want to be here anymore, whether thats been caused by illness, mental health or just how they've seen their life at that time and thought life would be better off without them. They've decided to make that choice of waking up and facing another day.
There are lots of times we would all like to sit back and let life pass us by, not take care of "routine", housework, deadlines, caring for others, finance's, and some people do sit back and let things pile up, BUT then they gain the courage by whichever way, to decide to pick themselves up and they find the courage to battle through whatever is pulling or holding them back.
You hear of people who have took that "leap of faith" and changed their life completely by moving to a different country, changing their careers or even changing their life path because it felt the right thing to do, it felt right or sometimes because of a life threatening health reason people have chose to have a better life or be a better person...it all took courage to take that "leap of faith".
Each choice we make takes courage, in 2015 i took a leap of faith and chose to become a full time medium. At the time i was working in the care sector, regular income, regular set hours, fellow workers i could rely on in a job i loved, but due to health issues i couldn't do that work in a reliable manner and was put in a position to either move to a job i could do or not work. I thought things through over a few months and the only thing that felt right to me, was something that i'd been doing outside of my working life, something i loved and still love doing, what i feel is my calling....MEDIUMSHIP! I spoke to my kids, my daughter said "Mom if it's what you want to do, then go for it! My son said "How will you pay bills? You're making a mistake! It's not a job it's just something you do! He even said at one point.."You've lost the plot!" I still spent a little time thinking it through, trying to weigh up my options and decided i didn't want to spend the rest of my life creating more wear and tear on my body, being tied to other people's routine's etc and realised i lived to work, my working life was leading my personal life and what i could and couldn't do, due to work hours which led to, yes, a regular income but an income that would only change by a few pence to a couple of pounds a year. I realised if i became a full time medium it would be more hours (much more haha) for possibly less money but i had the choice of more variation, though i only have myself to rely on and it's all good. I can honestly say, having the courage to make that decision, was one of the best ive made.
I'm not suggesting that anyone should make a life changing decision, what i am saying, is, when you reflect back over the past week, month, year or your life at decisions you've made willingly and knowingly and sometimes decisions you've been in a position that you had to, acknowledge the courage you have inside yourself, acknowledge that something you may not see as having courage, even what may seem as minor things like making an effort with yourself, all take courage, the courage to make a decision.
So "courage was going round and round in my head, i thought it through and for me, courage comes with decisions that some of us take for granted and others find hard, courage is in all of us and how we show courage is sometimes not seen by others but recognised by ourselves. Courage isn't always dangerous pastimes like lion taming, mountain climbing
(though i might add, those that do lion taming etc are extremely courageous!)
Courage for a lot of people, can be simply having the courage to get through each day.
If you would like to add your thoughts, be brave and have the courage to make a comment
Sometimes it can seem as though you come to a stop or maybe not furthering your mediumship, but there's a few reasons it can be happening.
Mediumship development helps you move forward and unlocks any"blocks" you might have.
It helps you think outside the box and opens your awareness more.

This is a question that will always be out there, as everyone has their own thoughts about it.
A psychic connects with your energy but doesnt know who is telling them this or they recognise that it's their guides working with them.
A medium connects to spirits energy and gives evidence of them, they recognise who they are connecting to.
A medium can work mediumistically and psychically but a psychic can't work upwards.
Hence the saying "All mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums"
All through our lives we're conditioned to feel guilt in some form, whether it's letting parents down with school grades or ourselves with our behaviours or reactions, we don't forgive ourselves and guilt then forms and we start a vicious circle which then makes it harder to forgive etc etc
When we begin to forgive, the ideal place is to start with ourselves, maybe we don't live upto other's or our own expectations, and it's fine.
When we think back over situations or events that we hold in and numb our emotions to, the best way we can look is, did we have any control over events? maybe we were children or someone else made us feel inferior with our decision making? Maybe we made the right choice at the time or a decision that was the only choice we had at that time? Many different factors come into our minds as we think, hindsight is a wonderful thing and hindsight can help you with forgiving yourself. Maybe we don't like who we are as a person or some of our traits, usually we can look back at parents and see ourselves in them, sometimes the parts of our parents we disliked or try to not be can be the part of us we don't like and that can be a thin line.
When we broaden our thinking and try to understand why things happen or maybe why people are how they are, maybe because of their learnt behaviour, we start to see patterns we can break or change, this is when you can start to forgive yourself, situations, choices etc and you will find acceptance is a part of forgiveness too. In time you may be able to forgive more than yourself
You'll often hear people refer to a medium as a “clairvoyant”. Some might even use the word “clairvoyant” instead of the word medium. However, these are two separate things. And when working with mediumship it is important to know the difference between the two.
A clairvoyant medium is able to communicate with the spirit world by using the sense of seeing. This does not necessarily mean that the clairvoyant medium sees the spirits with his or her physical eyes. Instead, a clairvoyant medium sees the spirit world with his or her “inner eye” or “third eye”. It can occur in many ways. It’s important to remember that all mediums are different. And it is rare for two mediums to work or develop in the exact same way.
A medium is a person that is able to communicate with the spirit world. Clairvoyance is one of many ways in which the medium can communicate with the spirits. The word means “clear seeing”. If the medium is clairvoyant, it means that he or she talks to the spirit world by using sight, in one way or the other. Not all mediums use their clairvoyance. In fact, all mediums have their own ways of communicating, and it does not have to be through the clairvoyant sense. Some mediums use their clairaudience, which means that they “hear” the spirit world. Others are clairgustient, which means that they “taste” the spirit world. In this blog we will look closer at clairvoyance.
Some mediums use colours when they are connecting for a reading. They might, for instance, see the colour blue while communicating with a spirit. Colors can mean different things for different mediums. The colour blue might mean calmness for some, indicating that the spirit coming through might have been a very calm person or it might stand for communication for some, meaning that the spirit was a calm person.
Some mediums are able to see short movies in their mind. They might be able to see whole memories from the spirit being played in their mind. As with pictures, movies are also put together by the clairvoyant mediums own mental images and memories.
Like all types of mediums, a clairvoyant does not automatically mean that you are spiritually enlightened. Some people expect all mediums to be kind, loving, and joyful people, all with a loving intention. This is not the case. Clairvoyants, as with all mediums, are able to do what they do, without being spiritually enlightened.
Most good mediumship teachers will teach their students that they will need to work on themselves, before they start to help others. A medium that is not in contact with themselves will easily become subjective in a reading, drawing conclusions from their own experience and issues. This can sometimes have serious consequences as they mislead their sitters. A medium that is spiritually developed and balanced will find it easier to do readings that are accurate. They will not have to hesitate when it comes to what is true and not. They will simply know, or feel it. They will often also have the ability to “feel” what their clients need.
The way different clairvoyant mediums “see” things can vary greatly. Some clairvoyants read. They might get a word, or many words, spelled out in their mind. Others just see parts of images, and are then able to paste these together, in order for it to make sense.
For people that are working on developing themselves spiritually, clairvoyance and many other types of mediumship often come with it as these skills are a part of who we truly are. Most spiritually developed mediumship teachers will agree that this is the best way of developing, as it will lead to more accurate readings made out of love and truth. Giving a good reading means enlightment, love, respect and experience.
Spirit guides are real, or a better way to explain is, some have lived before and some have chose not to live in a physical life.
A guide won't judge you, tell you what to do or fall out with you as they have evolved spiritually to a higher frequency, they hold none of the traits of the physical life such as any negative feelings. Some will have lived before as friends and family also people you will have known will also help you, giving you guidance for your best outcome in your life, its your choice to follow it or not. Some guides you won't have known, as these will be the ones who chose to be guides once they passed over, but they will resonate with you.
Their purpose is for guidance and healing in your own life firstly, for those that do open to spirit then your guides will teach and work with you for others.
A lot of people have had imaginary friends when they were children, these would have been guides, as guides are energy, they would have appeared as other children or something that child would have related too, as we are human, our brains need to make sense of things, so they would "fit" to our understanding of the world and surroundings at that time. As our awareness of our world and surroundings grow, so our guides appear to "change".
They guide you from within for your healing, how many times have you noticed old memories that have emotionally hurt or scarred you, start to come to the front of your mind? and you've no idea why?...It's usually because you are going through a similar situation which would cause the same emotional wounds or behaviours, which would again, be stored within. So they help bring memories back for you to release and the choice to change reactions or behaviours which have become a vicious circle for you. This could be situations, people or choices in your life.
Guides will give you feelings and they're usually quite subtle as you begin to trust your "gut" which is the clairsentience, the sensing. As your trust comes, you'll notice pictures appear and you might start to hear too. This can be "foresight for yourself, which comes in with the guidance and healing for yourself too.
Guides and mediumship development
Meditation is the ideal way to connect to your guides, you'll sense them, see them (not always straight away) and you can talk to them. Connecting through meditation helps to build your trust and confidence up as you'll be receiving guidance for yourself.
In mediumship and psychic development, your guides again work with you to open all your senses as there are quite a few, and the more senses you open and become aware of can make a difference to connections and symbols.
In development there are various exercises that strengthen your blend, as you lift your vibration, spirit lower theirs to make that blend possible as they learn to work with you and your awareness. These exercises would be done in a development class or on a 1 to 1 basis and make a difference to your understanding.

This is very much misunderstood, NO we don't, they're more alive than we are, it's the physical body that expires but the soul is eternal.
In case you didn't know it, they're are around you more than you realise and it's love that brings them closer.
They come back because they want to, and a medium can't force them, some don't come back at all if they don't want to. They come with love and concern for their family, for support and help with grief.
They ultimately choose to come back
There's a fine line between being confident and being overly confident.
I suffered with a lack of confidence when i was younger, i thought other's knew better, who was interested in what i had to say, took more notice of other people's achievements and measured myself up against them. Even silly things like people might like me more if i had curlier hair, my smile was different, i wore different clothes, even thought if my parents decorated the house in a different colour or style, the list goes on and on. Those things were a big thing to me when i was younger in my early teens, and my self esteem was low, even though my parents owned their own home, i wanted for nothing within reason, I still felt i didn't match up to others and my expectations of myself were high and when i failed, my confidence and esteem would slide further down. I tried many things over the years and couldn't see my successes, i'd had a saturday job at 14, went straight into full time work, had a good circle of friends, parents that loved me and a nice home.
Every now and again i'd tell myself it only mattered to me how i was, i didn't realise i was the only one bothered by me "thoughts" and "how i should be"
It took me a long time to realise that, as i picked myself up trying to better myself, people around me seemed to change and pull away. I didn't realise like drew like, so when i was feeling negative about myself i'd be attracting people with the same thoughts and as i tried to better myself i was always pulling myself back over as it felt comfortable. I had family members say i'd changed and i wasn't their sort anymore, i was fine with that and still am, as i've found there's always a positive outcome for everyone involved when there's a break.
From a young age, i read magazine's, watched tv shows and read books on confidence and esteem, i've found through trial and error that not everything will work for everyone, but here's some tips that do work
I Hope these tips help you if you struggle with low self esteem or lack of confidence.
I welcome any comments or feedback and be grateful if you could share to help others.
Based on the law of attraction, a universal law, which applies to anyone.
Our thoughts are powerful and creative. Cosmic ordering is about harnessing that positive energy and using it to help realize your dreams and goals.
Visualize in as much detail as you can, you have to be precise what it is you want and hold that request in your mind with no worry but setting your intention, release it to the universe. The universe should then be left to its own creative way. It's important to not worry or think about how it will happen, as the universe can often manifest for you in the most unexpected and surprising way.
Think of it like this, if you placed an order from a catalogue you wouldn’t worry about how the goods would be delivered, you would just wait for them to arrive, so do the same here and forget about it, let the universe do it’s magical work and sort out all the details for you.
Is there certain things i can ask for?
Always be positive and open when asking. It can be anything from a new home, a soul mate, money, healing, health, a new car – be as creative in your desires as you wish, it can be small things or large things, it’s your list to update and amend as you want to. Start by asking for small things for example a parking space, or a seat on the train in the rush hour. It is best not to ask for too many things at once and to be thankful and grateful whenever it comes your way. Don't let worries come in the way or you might block the universe from helping you.
After Peter passed, i was in need of a table and chairs and couldn't afford one, i sent out my thoughts and a couple of weeks later someone mentioned they had one they were giving away, it was immaculate and done the job until i could afford one.
“Be careful what you wish for… you just might get it!” This needs to be considered, as the universe is indeed very powerful. Make lists and really think things through. You can cancel and change orders but don’t confuse the universe with too many differing requests, be very clear. Be specific.
It is important to be positive, make it personal to you. Make sure theycome from an open and loving heart. It does not work to wish for things for others that are vengeful or negative.
